Welcome to the future of food… From my kitchen


Welcome to my new blog. While I’m not entirely sure what this will morph into, my first post will be about why I’m doing this.

In my life I have always been drawn to companies that are making a social impact. And while I currently speak with my wallet in terms of where and what I purchase, I want to make an impact in my everyday life and career. The social impact space is huge. There are hundreds of companies, non-profits, NGO’s etc. doing amazing things around the world so I had to pick a cause.

When I think about what makes me happy, and what I find the most joy doing on a consistent basis I always come back to 1 thing. FOOD.

I’m sure if you’re reading this you’ve seen my Instagram page and all the food I love to cook for family and friends. But now I want to take it a step further.

I am currently a volunteer with the Sustainable Food Center and Springdale Farms because of their commitment to sustainability. So for now I’m going to do my part and add to the conversation about food sustainability and how to make a difference in the comfort of your own home.

I want to share why I cook the way I cook, the benefits I see in my everyday life, and how you can do the same, because it’s easier and more delicious than you may think.

I don’t want to preach to you about how to live and how to eat. I’m only going to document what I’m learning, and how I’m making decisions to live and eat in a more sustainable way.

So welcome to the Blog and my first post will be about BEEEEF and why I chose to give up my favorite foods for the planet.
